Your application will be processed; then the Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch to discuss scheduling. Please allow a week for processing time.
We can accommodate groups of up to 15 at our thrift store. However, meal service opportunities have a maximum of 8 volunteers.
We schedule chapel speakers separately from our traditional volunteers. If you would like to speak at our Women and Children’s Shelter, please contact Bethany at BethanyH@BEaRESCUER.org and if you would like to speak at our Men’s Shelter, please contact Randy at Randy@BEaRESCUER.org. We are able to craft schedules to meet your needs. Whether you want to come in weekly, monthly, or whenever your schedule allows, we can make that happen.
Minors in need of community service or volunteer hours for school, must be accompanied by an adult. Families with children 7 and older and supervised school/church groups of 6th grade and higher are welcome to volunteer.
